Brian Gmail Intake turns selected Gmail messages into screened task captures for its owner’s personal workflow.
It runs locally on Windows, uses Gmail read-only access, and saves captures to a private Dropbox-synced folder for configured Claude and ChatGPT workflows.

A configured Gmail search finds recent messages. Read access is needed to identify their source, requested actions, and relevant details.
Local processing
The Windows script checks for duplicates and privacy concerns, then prepares a compact capture. It does not call an AI model.
A private workflow
Screened captures sync through Dropbox. The owner’s configured assistant workflows can read them to support review and task organization.
Read-only access, with clear boundaries.
The Gmail permission allows broad mailbox reading, but the application uses a configured search to select messages. It does not send, forward, delete, label, or modify email under its current read-only authorization.
This website provides public information about the application. It does not connect to Gmail or receive message contents or OAuth tokens. Authorization happens through the installed application and Google’s consent screen.
Brian Gmail Intake is maintained for its owner’s personal use. There is no public sign-up service. Questions about access or privacy can be directed to the support address displayed on the application’s Google consent screen.
